For Tottenham final pre-season game, some may have been underwhelmed at facing Olympiakos, but at the same time will have almost certainly ignored their dominance in their domestic game.
Although the Greek league doesn`t start until a week after our own, we shouldn`t underestimate their preparations to pre-season. Already with two Champions league qualifying win`s against Slovan Bratislava they will be prepared and fit. Slovan are hardly Barcelona, but they were still games that potentially have a massive impact on the season`s hopes and no doubt finances.
Spurs will again probably look to play a decent number of players, to give as many as possible an opportunity to shine and get minutes on the pitch, but we can surely expect a debut from Peter Crouch and perhaps a glimpse of Sebastien Bassong, If he has been registered in time.
