Most rugby fans would expect an all French Rugby Union Final to be a highly entertaining open affair with running 15 man running rugby being the order of the day. However, we think this is highly unlikely as both teams have shown a huge propensity for disciplined tight rugby with much reliance being placed on their ability to kick goals. Indeed, Toulouse fly half David Skrela kicked four penalties and four conversions to defeat Leinster in the Semi-Final, while Dimitri Yachvili kicked all 18 points for Biarritz to claim victory over Munster in their Semi-Final.
If Biarritz do have any advantage it will be the fact that they have had three weeks rest since their win over Munster, while Toulouse come into the match somewhat battered and bruised after losing out in a very aggressive French Cup Semi-Final against Perpignan last weekend.
